The problem that I mainly encounter is brake discs. I keep mine outside, so have weather problems, which you won't have. They corrode and squeal when I'm getting the car ready for MOT. I solve it by removing the discs and cleaning them on a lathe, but prevention would be better than cure. Another co...

BMW's coolant is one of the few fluids they don't quote a prime supplier for. If you want to keep your BMW as spec'd, you should use BMW coolant and deionised water. Yes its the secondary air pipe that goes between the pump and the valve on the engine. Secondary air only operates for about 30 seconds when the engine is started. Think of it as a system that produces a flame thrower that heats the cat's up really quickly to reduce emissions. Should you remove it?...

I always use Kwik-Fit as they do a free check before they fill and they also do a dye test if they can't spot the leak by eye. It takes about an hour to do the test.

It does cost £49 if it's OK to fill, though - so they are not the cheapest.

BMW don't list their springs on RealOEM. The only way to get a pair is to quote them your chassis number and confirm the car is standard - which you have (by the sounds of it).
