I need a new rear box and a local exhaust specialist has suggested a box with larger twin tail pipes. This will need some revisions to the size of the exhaust apperture in the bumper but thats no problem. The pipe that exits the back box is a single pipe that then feeds into the oversize twin pipes....

Hi,

No airbag light came on.

With the drivers side I taped over the ingnition and put the cars keys out of the way - No light

With the passenger side I just kept the keys out of the way - again no light

Hi,

Did this on Sunday and did not disconnect the battery. The instructions from Doug Whalen only said to put some masking tape over the ignition so as to not put the key in and attempt to turn on the ignition.

As I posted earlier did mine last night. Just come back from first drive and cannot believe the difference. Not only do the seat bushes stop any movement they seem to tighten up the whole mechanism.

Well worth doing and a bit of an eye opener when you see the state of the original bushes

Hi, I have just had fitted by my son in law a set of seat bushes from Doug Whalen. $20 inlcuding post.

Not something I would do myself but if you are half handy and follow the instructions 2 hours max will see it out.

I have recently contacted a hood provider and asked about what would happen if the rear window ever needed repacing. The guy said that the whole roof would need to be taken to to effect the repair.

Is this the experience of [eo[le who have need a new roof on an after market hood.

Wiechers have a strut brace for 95 euros (steel) or 142 euros aluminium for my 2.8 Z3.

Is aluminium that much better than steel as strut brace. Guess a lot lighter, but does that really matter.
