I can see a slight impression on the padding under the bonnet but that's all.

Oh No!, i didn't even give that a thought and just shut the bonnet, ( runs out to check the bonnet ) Phew - no bumps!!!, no modelling clay or similar supplied with the brace but the nice men at the courier company had a good inspection of the parcel judging by the state of it, they didn't even re-ta...

Fitted the strutbrace and it does seem to make the car feel tighter, shall see how it performs on 2nd April.

Online there is a section on mods, i also said £425, my mistake that was for the other half's saab conv. my quote is £548.10 protected with alloys as a mod

The reason why I know this will work well is the following. A big speaker unit in a small enclosure will never give any bass. I did the A130 from the A13 the other week, nice road to drive,was aiming to carry on to Braintree then A120 to M11 to A406 to A13 but was stopped by a phone call from the missus.

Rear screen cracking

We should all know now that the rear screen should be nice and warm before taking the hood off during the cold weather, i've even used warm water, but i've not thought about the screen cooling whilst folded and the possibility of cracking whilst raising the roof, any thoughts on prevention?

I totally agree, i had a 120i as a hire car in Ireland and really enjoyed the back country lanes and so much torque, rarely used less than 3rd gear, would like to try the 130i. It was driving the 120i that made me try and buy a Z3
