Re: Z3 Wood/Aluminium Dash Trim Kit Set??
I posted a question on here a few weeks ago about the £40 set and was told that although they looked good at first, they shrank in the heat and peeled off.
I am interested to know if anyone has experience of the £125 set.

Re: Spacers
my problem is that I bought a car with 20mm hub extensions on it and due to them being ally the tapped holes had starting stripping so they came straight off.
i'm not sure if they were just cheap ones and better ones may have hardened inserts but it just scared me.

Re: Spacers
there are spacers that have 10 holes (5 through and 5 tapped)that bolt directly to your hub then you use your original bolts that screw into the tapped holes in the spacers. I have always used longer bolts / studs (depending on the fixing type) so the spacer is sandwiched between the wheel and the h...

I had a longlife 'high flow' SS cat fitted to one of my previous cars and it only just scraped through the MOT by the skin of it's teeth so I ditched it in favour of a standard replacement cat and it passed with flying colours. :D I like their SS custom systems but I have to say their replacement ca...

I am by no means an expert but I had something similar on a different car and it turned out to be a bad earth on the headlight motor which was trying to move up but was already at fully up position.

Re: Front struts and mounts
I am in the process of replacing my front shocks and springs. I have ordered new top mounts as the old ones felt ok but slightly loose in the bearings so for the price of it's worth it. the chances are if they are slightly worn, the stiffness of the new shocks / springs will wear them out in no time.

Lowering the rear end for cosmetic purposes will mean that with a passenger and a full boot you will have clearance problems on anything but a flat smooth road - and if you ever want to fit a Butt Strut you will really be in trouble. Likewise, getting onto a ferry, or a ramp in a multi-story car pa...
