Hi guys. MOT has passed!!!! Soooooooooo happy!

So, i'll have a new lambda sensor to resell... has done 10 miles on my car!

The problem was the exhaust and not the lambda sensor.

And I bought the bracket which appear on the firsl link del gave me. So it should be fine, no need of a hammer!

Ok,so tony told me the car should pass the MOT... well should, not 100%, but we will see tomorrow!


Anyway, I'll have to buy ar make a different mounting, so, do anyone have a suggestion? appart from the one given by Del?

The bracket is as low as it can be! I'll have a look at the others fittings, or probably get a second hand one.

But the question remains... will it pass the MOT like this???

Exhaust bought from euro car parts.
I called GSF and because they had to order specially for me they didn't want to do anything about the price!

Thanks for the links athulas but cobra and longlife are definitly too expensive for me! I don't know about roar power but I think it will be too expensive too! There are lot on e-bay at around 140£.

And I'd like to buy a stainless one but it seems to be too expensive for my wallet! Knowing that I just spend quite a few pounds on schocks and springs.

Anyone ever bought an exhaust from euro car parts? Or car parts for less?

Ok, well don't do like me spending money on others parts... try to fix the exhaust leak first!

My exhaust is so bad is so bad I'll change it, there is no point at pluging the hole!

My worst fear came to life! I couldn't do a retest as its quite far to go back to Portsmouth from milton Keynes. So I had a complete new MOT. High everyone. Skocks and springs are done. The rear sits a bit high but that's the way it is! Now I have to sort out the pollution problem. As I said I bought a lambda sensor, I took the old one off but as del says I need to solder the wires with the new one! So I'll order another one from car part...

To answer to del, I changed my plugs last year, so I don't think there is any problem with the plugs but i'll give them a good clean. The air filter is quite new as well but it's cheap so i'll change it. I also have a fuel filter that I never fitted, I'll try to do this as soon as I can. And finally...
