If its only for the airbag then it appears not, thanks again for all your input guys its much appreciated. the passenger seat will probably have a seatbelt pretensioner. the fault could be with that circuit, and as such may still have a ...

Then sell it on, so you can buy a z3 again, mark my words, so many people do this...... :D

I might add there is absolutely nothing wrong with a Z4, but its still not a Z3.

A Z3 gets under your skin, a Z4 is just a nice car.

I dont see a raft of breakdown vehicles with people being told "thats what you get for revving it when cold", and I rarely see or smell blue smoke nowadays either.

My 3.0 Z3 could do exactly this, but not my 2.8 or my mrs 1.9 even though that is newer.
I think It all depends on what wiper module is fitted but I have no idea why they were different

my z4 e85 was two years or service interval display, whichever appeared earlier..
however if you do not do many miles and oil service will be best, as you don't need an inspection until the SI is reached if mileage is still a good way off.

Why would they have different spring rates for an anti theft alarm at a few grams, but not a hardtop being fitted?
or the fact you could be average 80kg lighter on one side without a passenger, and there is no allowance given depending whether it's a skinny git or fat bstard driving.?
