Simplest tip is to only use soft bags, then there is always room to squeeze another little thing in... Hard cases (tailor-made excepted of course) are not an efficient use of space. IIRC, the opening price for the basic models was the same as the engine size, ie:
1.9 was approx £19,000
2.8 was approx £28,000

CPC looked after RED before we moved away from London. Phil is an incredibly knowledgeable chap and passionate about everything BMW old and new, unlike most main dealers. That's an interesting site, but don't forget that the US S54 was detuned compared to the Euro and UK version, and the US S52 has roughly the same HP as the UK 3.0 litre. Yankie nancies....! :twisted:

That ///M is looking really sweet. Love the black & white theme. I don't normally like smoked/blackened rear clusters, they usually look so 'aftermarket', but on that ///M they really work well. Suggestion: Swop the front orange indicator bulbs for chrome ones to lose that 'fried egg' look. Nice...

I think they're scrapping the paper discs because the electronic systems are already in place, rather than as an excuse to implement them. And yeah, scrapping road tax for the equivalent amount added to petrol duty would be so much fairer in every way.... :idea:
