Yes, turn up early to see some beautiful cars as Specialist Cars of Malton open their showroom, many of their customers attend and lots of other car enthusiasts. It's also a charity fundraiser, so get a butty and cuppa and donate to their nominated worthy causes.

Another vote for Pagid RS29, but I also use Ferrodo DS2500 on my turbo. Carbonne Lorraine bike pads are some of the best I've used and didn't know they did cars, so will follow that up.

EBC never impressed me.

Not booking Croft Chris as I've run out of holidays this year & need to limit taking unpaid days off as it makes it a very expensive trackday. Doing this one to use up my £100 voucher from the raffle at Silverstone last year.

And the MX5 is lauded as a latter day hero too. Personally I find the z very soft with a very pronounced tendency for lift off oversteer, but once the cars dynamics are understood, can be exploited to the considerable mechanical grip on offer. I also find its dynamics similar to my 911 turbo. Go 'fi...

Not changed our clutch and so far it's done several high speeds days on runways, about a dozen trackdays and lots of spirited road driving. No problems so far, but I think it might now be reaching the end of it's life.

I will probably go down the route of an M5 plate when it's time is up.
