Another new battery for our Z last winter too as the car sat with no trickle charger for the best part of 6 months. Fortunately I'd bought the last one from the AA with a 'lifetime guarantee', which they honoured.

2 turbos & RS intercoers & a bunch of other associated items to get it back to top performance at Nine Excellence. Very happy with the results.

Put a data logger in it and did a steady 4.35s 0-60 this afternoon. It's quick.

Dont use new tyres on track unless it's wet as the treads will probably overheat unless you're very careful. Pressures cold need dropping as the heat generated will cause pressures to rise. Take a gauge and inflator for the end of the day. Worth keeping older tyres to do td's due to potential high w...

River 3.5 in an MX5, that's going to be interesting.

Welcome & read up on the tweaks you can do to improve on the Z. 2.8's are pretty robust so 98k is nicely run in if it's been properly maintained.

Yes they work by helping maintain the integrity of the strut tops, just like as standard in the Z4 and lots of other BMW's since, which have a bar from each strut top to the bulkhead.

Can't comment on their discs but the RS29 pads are exceptionally good for hard trackday use. I would be surprised if they actually make discs, probably getting their brand put on some factored import. Best stock sized discs I found were Brembo Cast Iron, which with the Pagid pads were incredibly goo...

It's a DMS stage 2, exactly as per the link. Very very happy with the car. It also has GT3 6 pots, techart suspension, quickshifter & a few other bits. Goes well on track too and had a true speed trap 191 mph at Bruntingthorpe!

Not aware of any major specific flaws with 4's, but usual checks should be ok to see everything working. Have fun shopping.
