You might find they are Anthracite black which I have in mine. I did buy a new set from Rossiters but when I eventually checked them a year later they are black I'll get round to selling them at some point.

Polished sounds nice but properly attract to much attention from Magpies and I don't mean the feathered kind Be nice to see one of each and go from there but I suppose the black version would be more OEM unless you have a ally centre console. Looking forward to the next instalment.

I don't think it would be good enough for the cup holder to be honest from the videos I've seen. How about smooth hammerite paint it's pretty durable. Why not set up a thread for people's suggestions and give each product a test or ask others to so to offload some of the development cost.

I wonder if this would work on one of my 'boomerangs'? The previous owner must have had a mobile phone holder or something mounted on it and has left an annoying slight impression in the leather. I've been on the lookout for new ones since I've had the car but no luck in winning any bids on some.

You just beat me to it Brian but part number confirmed the same for left or right hand drive. Ualla If you go for that second hand part you'll have to transfer it to your plastics as I presume your driving a left hander but for a little extra I would go for the new part and piece of mind.

I'm horrified at the amount of swirl marks she's applied to the paint after using the same sponge on the wheels and tyres god knows what she's dragged onto the body work. Looking at that video though making me really miss mine at the moment though at this rate I think I'm never getting it back.

I always thought the clock was a waste to be honest as most head units will display the time anyway. I would rather have a oil pressure gauge there instead, but my clock lost about 5 mins over a year

I agree with blade runner have a professional check the alignment from a safety point of view. If your lucky it might just be inner panels might need tweaking but if the chassis that's out you will have to way up the cost.

Good result I'm pleased for you that your simple idea is coming along, but just one thing I want to add for you to consider Barry. The wear I had on my bolsters covered the area where the stitching is so maybe a test taking into account that area just to cover all your bases.

Drewsif, yes you got it. The kit is a conversion. I don't know if they will work on you headlights because of self leveling mechanism but your welcome to drop over mine and try them if you wish.

I have some HID kits HB3&4 which I tried in my Z3M but took them due to the auwfull dispersal pattern they gave. If you can use them you can have them for a very cheap price.

The choice of a engine rebuild did appear to be a better option at the time than buying a second hand unit of unknown history then taking a risk on that unit :squeeze: A bit of a dilemma at the time deciding what the best option was. The engine has had a reground and balanced crank, all new shells and mains bearings, replaced and balanced conrods, ARP conrod bolts (I'm not taking a risk on another shell spinning) rehoned bores or rebored with new rings, new oil pump and new gaskets etc so a little more of a rebuilt engine and so...
