Re: M stitched armrests
I'm not so keen on the stitching to be honest, personally I would prefer it just formed out of a single piece of leather more cleaner looking. Nothing wrong with the above item just not my taste.

Re: Stone guards
Hi Dave first of all welcome to the forums. If you don't fancy spraying up some stone guards you could buy some 3m clear vinyl and stick that on. There's plenty of the stuff on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/3m-clear-vinyl Another option to consider is a clear wrap which I would think about if I got...

I love to do something to convert my old 3g ews (brick remote) into something a bit more modern. I was impressed with the flip style fob my other half got with her Polo. For you guys who have the key with the chip you could use something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-3-5-7-SERIES-X3-X5-Z4-...

Mine suddenly gave out without any symptoms of tiredness 2 winters ago and would not recharge. I replaced it with one of Halfords heavy duty maintenance free with some silly guarantee as I needed a replacement that day but I'll have to see how well a Halfords product will last.

That yank one was for a b30 motor so no good but thanks for the thought. I had a brouse on DE eBay too but not much price difference. Re: Help required for my ///M
Cheers Dave, it's the original version of the pump. The dilemma is either to buy this a new item or go for another one which is second hand but is a newer model but not the latest revision. Help required for my ///M
I have posted up previously that I had engine failure with my //M. Damage was a knackered big end so after sourcing a replacement crank, con-rod new shells/big ends, ARP bolts the oil pump has found to be the likely culprit. I need a new oil pump but the bill is climbing; so I'm on the lookout for a...

While mine is having its engine rebuilt I forgot about doing something about my renewal ended up paying just under £380, shame I could not have left it until Aug 1st as it would have only been £309 from Admiral but had to laugh at one quote.

Wanted possible S50 engine
My ///M gave a loud death metallic squeal at which I dipped my clutch and turn off the engine. By the time the RAC turned up the motor had cooled off and the recovery guy gave it a quick turn over which did not sound very healthy at the top end. So I don't know what the diagnosis will be yet but wil...

Ah Admittedly I did buy some new sealant. As for the roof I still give it a once over every year so the rain just beads off. Only other tip I can advise on is be careful of a heavy right foot in the severe wet it caught me out once but that was my own fault after having a front wheel drive for a whi...

Looks a nice example. I wouldn't write of the compressor though as mine works fine. I would properly give the hood a good clean, water proof treatment and treat the rubbers to some gumiflech too.

In my experience, it's a case of "marriage paranoia"....it's quite common for people of both sexes to suddenly get cold feet....You might be surprised in a few weeks / months when it turns around, and then you'll really be in a pickle...and if it doesn't, then consider yourself fortunate....

Re: Wanted passenger side seat adjustment switch
I've been keeping tabs on ebay for a while. The switches are specific to the Z3 as I bought a cheap on off another beamer just for the chance of scavenging the white clip. A new switch is a lot of money just for a plastic white clip, I might see if I can glue the pieces together. Anyone know if the ...
