Re: oval mirror
If you take a look at my thread there are some photos that show the inside of both the standard and the ///M mirror from when I swapped mine. The plastic rim on the front prises off allowing the glass to come out exposing the circuit behind which is held in situ by two plastic lugs from memory. http...

For Sale Z3 Carbon fibre induction kit SOLD
For sale an induction kit that I had fitted to my Z3 2.0ltr. The only reason I'm selling it is I've fitted a Simota one instead. http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd372/howorthj/P1010315.jpg It fitted my car perfectly (I think it will fit 2.0 through to the 2.8 but please do your own checks). From memory you can dismantle the standard mirror by removing the glass to expose four screws, you're then able to unscrew them which releases the plastic casing from the metal core. You can then swivel it around to gain access to the Allen key heads.

My concern would be if the hole in your tyre was so big that the tyre gunk didn't fill it :( I know from my experience that when my tyre blew it left a large hole. I rang the green flag and they said i would be charged despite being a member for them to come out as the Z was fitted with a spare when...
