TomTom would require a GPRS subscription for TMC :( Destinator for Symbian may be suitable if they extend RDS TMC support across from the Pro software. :wink:

Have you read up on parkers.co.uk? There I found a good range description. I think for the age you are talking about the smallest was a 6 Cylinder 2.2. Maybe check wether the 6 cyclinder engine is better for the auto box? You should go for heated seats, stereo upgrade (unless you have a plan do DIY)...

Hello As a second generation GPS user I know the TMC over RDS is a must in the Zed however of course the DIN slot has my EMPEG player in it. Have any of you used a PDA or smartphone and found it useable (sound and vision really of use) with the roof down? The sun doesn't shine by the rear view mirro...

i do have a massive sound system for top down motoring but I turn it down in town. My car isn't poverty spec so the fog lamps are for lighing up Norfolk fog basins. I had been on the M25 and the rain was 'speed two' on the wipers. I remember my Saab improving the foward lighting in these conditions....

I had a loose GND at the battery and this led to the battery backed up siren going off. Alos the car wouldn't crank, and the gauges fluttered under hard cornering.

Ifyouhavea multimeter check the impedance of the speaker it should be 4Ohms. Check the connectivity between the wires that connectthe speakers for short circuits to the chassis(ground) using the diode test setting.

or swap the left and right speakers over and see if the speaker is working Okv

I've considered this, when I noticed the microswitch on the passenger side roof mechanism's frame. The alarm is Serpi Star OEM although it uses a data bus, apparently :(

There is space under the corners for a cable and connector. Lever off the centre one and have a peek as I didn't.

Plan though how the cable will come out, maybe if the radio was out you can feed a cable through!

If while you're there you spot where the demister vent goes let me know!
