Surely the easiest way to see whether the mirror units are likely to work between RHD and LHD is to sit in your passenger seat and test whether your original mirrors would work to a LHD car... Perhaps you should call the dealer you are going to order the cable from. It doesn't seem abundantly clear which one you should order.

Tell them you want the per tensioner repair cable and let them do the hard work.

If you do ever find the part number, the parts are often cheaper here.

I now have my USB - ODBII adapter, and 20 pin plug - OBD. I also have Carsoft and INPA today, just tried to connect to car with no luck. Im running win XP pro SP2. Is there any other setup I need to get working. I have installed the software that came with my USB OBD, and have set USB COM to COM 3....

It seems to go to the bottom of the bit you plug your belt into, rather than into the horizontal cylindrical barrel of the pretensioner. Seat belt detector then. Should be plugged in if there is a socket for it. There is another wire going from the cylinder into the bottom of the seat - that one's ...

Driver's seat belt pretensioner wiring has failed. The connector falls apart at the tensioner. It is a common fault to the point that there is a wiring repair kit for £15-20. Sorry Estocks, but the digital fuel readout uses the same sensor as the guage! Look at a wiring diagram and you will see. As an example, when my guage sensor gives up completely, and the indicated level falls to zero, so does the digital readout. The pressure sensor is a requirement only for the US...

The rate of change of the fuel guage is very very inconsistent. All you can be sure of is when the red light comes on you need fuel.

The digital Distance To Empty is more accurate as it is calculated on the pressure of the fuel, which the car needs an acurate reading of for the fueling.

The switches can fail. Getting the seat out when they have done is a bitch. You may need to short wires together to shift the seat to access the bolts. Check with your multimeter to ensure your seats have power. The wiring diagram is here.

Surely you need to find out what's wrong instead of buying and hoping? But if you want to do that then get the GPS antenna and a MK4 DVD nav drive, and you may need to code your VIN into it with INPA or a dealer visit.

There is a cable that leads from the battery, up the firewall and throught the parcel shelf into the vehicle cabin. Follow the cable from the battery to find the route. The grommet on the drivers side is pretty full. There is an identical grommet on the passenger side with the boot lid wiring in it....

Those are one of the cheapest looking speaker I've ever seen. For reference, here's what a good quality 100mm speaker looks like. Much as I like and promote the Z3, the one thing it is not is a track car.

It's a roadster. It has A/C, soft seats, low noise, carpets and a flexible chassis.

If you want a track-day convertible, get an Elise, or possibly a 350Z.

Fuel octane starts to degrade if unused. I get my 97RON from the place right next to a race track, where the trackday cars fill up daily and help keep the tanks stocked with fresh fuel.

Naturally the most economical speed will be a dead flat road in top gear at 1000RPM. Equates to about 40MPH and ~50MPG. Of course very few motorways have no hills.
