When you guys did the change were there any washers to replace on the radiator & engine block plugs? Did you also change the hoses to the thermostat as pelican parts recommends - I'm getting all my bits and pieces together ready to do the job, just want to make sure I'm not missing anything bef...

Did the same job a couple of weeks ago. Spent since staring at the thermostat waiting for it to rise above 12 o'clock.

Anyone coming to Thoresby tomorrow, if not making the Ollerton meet make sure you let the guys at the entrance know your with the BMW group so to gain access to the main show area.
Shoud be easy to find us we will have the BMW flag flying.

Did mine on the 1.9 by Cutting off a piece of garden hose about a foot spread over ceramic part of plug lowered in and finger tightened
then lowered socket to complete. Did try with just socket plug kept dropping out. Hose worked for me!
