Zelda has an ///M steering wheel and Sport seats, (factory fitted options). This doesn't turn the CAR into an ///M or a Sport. I renewed my front and rear suspension using OEM Sachs springs and shocks from E.C.P., Meyle drop links and A.R.B.mounting bushes. Other spares suppliers are available...... A noticeable difference, smooth and surefooted.

They weren't standard, but do a good job in reducing buffeting. Clear perspex or the BMW mesh type are available. I personally prefer the look of the clear perspex type. The mesh type to me looks a bit of cast off ladies underwear.

2 new sills from Jason at Rybrook BMW Warwick. I always try Sopers for all my parts and they are great, but they won't post bulky items for fear of damage. Jason was very helpful and the sills arrived in very secure packaging and in perfect condition. I would certainly deal with them again. :cheers ...

I've heard these modifications improve top end power, but move the maximum torque higher up the rev band. ! love my low down torque, it surprises many when accelerating away in top when they think it's in third! It still has good grunt up to around 5800 r.p.m. and a change up into the next gear. :c...

Around 5800 is enough really I think to get into the peak torque revs for the next upshift. I don't hammer it that much very often, sometimes, when opportunities arise I like to drive swiftly but smoothly, which you can do without approaching the red line.

The cure for that is to use the car. Driving it on a regular basis will also prevent possible brake caliper seizure, parking brake seizure and keep the battery charged.
