It all sounds like good news then! I'm on here a lot so I'll keep a close eye on things in the new year then. I was looking to tax my Zed from the beginning of march. Does this sit about right with events firing up??

2014 cruises
Hi all, not buying my Zed until July and not finding the forum until September I have yet to join up for meet and cruise. I live at Mansfield so being very close to Derbyshire and the Peak District was wondering if this was an area where a cruise has been held in the past? Theres some fantastic road...

Re: ChromiumTech strut brace
Hi Stupot, hi have a strut brace and full chassis brace on mine. I'm not the quickest of drivers to be fair but it really does go round corners like its on rails. I've never owned a car with braces on before but the handling difference is obvious. I used to run several mark 1 and 2 golf gti's and th...

There are already several counties that have dropped some form of tax disc/sticker in recent years in favour of an electronic system. Anything to save a penny tho eh? It'll cost us more in the long run garanteed!

Thanks guys. It was heavily stone chipped on the bonnet and bumper, that was one of the reasons in the descision to get it painted. It had also had some not so good paint on the rear quarter although the bodyshop said there's no evidence of damage. I'll post a pic when I eventually get it back!

Mines in a similar state at the minute. No lights bumpers etc. I'd post photos on but can't work out how to do it. I put them on photo bucket but can't work out what to do next. I've read the thread but I'm just not grasping it. I only have a tablet/phone,is that why I can't post pics??

Hi, my Zed's being painted at present and the bodyshop have just rang to say that it needs two front wheel arch liners and the passenger door mirror is bodged inside being held together by a jubilee clip. Just what you need when your at the top of your budget and Christmas is just around the corner!...

Hello! Best move you'll ever make. I don't know if its your everyday car but each time I get in mine and drop the roof I get a genuine buzz. I love my Zed and wished I bought one years ago. I doubt you can but I need to take the door card off anyway to adjust the window as I'm getting a small amount of water coming in at the top and I also need to grease the window regulator as it's very very slow, so can do it all at the same time. Central locking issues
Hi, I have an original BMW alarm fitted with the remote central locking fob. It opens and locks the passenger door and boot but not the drivers door. Is there a common fault or could I be opening a big can of worms?
Any advice greatfully received.

Tonneau cover for swap or sale
Hi, I have a black tonneau cover in excellent condition which ideally I'd like to swap for a tan/cream one or sell it for £60 including postage to any uk mainland address. A swap would be the ideal solution for me if possible to save having to hunt another one down.

Hi, I to am new to all this. I recently bought a 98 Z3 2.8 as a hobby so had to set up a new policy altogether. I live in the midlands and am paying £240 on a classic policy which I got from confused.com/classic. Good luck!
