I thought claying might be a risky business so I hung back but now that you all alerted me to the roughness of the paint I can't help noticing it!! I'll end up doing that sooner or later. They say old habits die hard and I ne...

Once you've washed the alloys in future, try spraying on a layer of Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection, leave it for up to an hour then buff off. It makes removing grime a lot less harmful to the surface of your alloys if time is of the essence and you haven't a hose, shampoo and brush handy. Thanks, ...

Ive red reports that the yellow pads cause disc wear, and produce more dust than the red pads?

im only using oem discs. They dont need replacing yet.

Is there a big difference between the yellow and red?

Many thanks

The M is a different beast, if you get a good one they are not fragile at all.

the secret is to find a well kept example and look after it.

not cheap to run but will bring a smile to your face every time you turn the key!! (as long as it starts!!!)

very good stuff.

hello,

the key is to remove any proofer that may be present.

if not the dye cannot soak in and penetrate the material.

i had this issue, the dye just ran off the surface.

Brake pads and discs

Hello all,

Anybody using the EBC Red stuff pads?

If so is there a requirement to upgrade you oem disc's before fitting these?

Also if you have the Red stuff pads, do you notice a difference when braking, and dust levels?

many thanks
