The best sensible budget improvement would be to get perhaps Supersprint exhaust, ECU rempap and Simota or Gruppe M induction. For the S54 the OEM map works fine with any mods that you do which improve air/exhaust flow. The OEM air-intake just needs my "exdos mod" to optimise air-intake p...

SpunkyM,

Have you heard a pair of modded Z3M silencers?

There's still a "H" cross-over pipe in the rear section of the M3 exhaust (just below the bolt -Part4 - in the last diagram).

I believe that there is a valve inside the M3 exhaust which opens around 2500rpm.

Personally, I'd try and find a like-for-like replacement, unless you really want to mod the car. If you look out for the subframe and trailing arms off a front-end damaged car and do a full swap, then that should resolve the problem. To answer your question; the ///M trailing arms are not adjustable for toe. To do this you need to fit either Ireland Engineering's adjustable camber and toe brackets, or eccentric trailing arm bushes. If you want to fit IE brackets, you'll need to weld them to the subframe. Yes - it will suffice for the fabled 321 bhp of the larger engine, but as in all things, it does so at a price. While this filter manages to pass an adequate air flow when new, the flow rate will rapidly fall as the element collects dirt. You say "fabled 321bhp". I saw a dyno plot recorde...
