roll hoops
Hi, I know that this is an old topic but does anyone live in Essex/Kent who has a 1997 2.8 and has fitted or had fitted roll hoops. If so could I perhaps call in and have a look at and discuss sometime over the Christmas or New Year period.

a white 2.2 o2 reg in Pitsea, Basildom, Essrex
Spotted this morning. A white Z3 with a nice blue hood, ( car needs a clean) but white on blue looked really good.

Hi. When I had a Lotus Kit car some years ago I went to a number of kit car shows where there were a number of stalls that sold parts such as chrome items etc etc. My son had an MGB GT a couple of years ago and the same was true. I have had my Z3 2.8 for only a couple of months and would like to kno...

Tyre Pressures
Hi,
I have had a good look at the forum but have not really found the answer to my tyre pressure question.
I have recently purchased a 1997 2.8 with Proxes T1-S tyres. They are low profile and are 225/40ZR18.
Has anyone got these tyres and can give an idea of suitable tyres pressures.
Thanks

Re: Door Handle Covers
[quote="Mike Fishwick"]I have had these on my Zed for about five years, and been very pleased with them. They are made by Wellstar, and are availbale at most 'go-Faster Goodies' stores for the E36 range. I wasn't impressed by the sticky tape fixing for the handle surround, and took it out,...

Unfriendly Z3 drivers
I have had a great day in the 2.8 Z3 going to Crawley and Brighton and having a look at the London to Brighton Run. Hood down all the way. Whilst it was a great drive I noticed the large amount of "sad" Z3 drivers who fail to acknowledge/fash or show any sign of recognition. A few years ag...

Door Comartment query
I have a 1997 2.8 and have tried to find out what the two "coin like" sections are in the lift up tab by the drivers right leg in the drivers front door. If they were for coins then it would not close and I have spoken to another Z owner who is unaware of there purpose. The handbook does n...

Roll Hoops
I know this one has been done to death over time but as a new member I wonder if there was any more recent information around. I have a 1997 2.8 Z3. I like the look of rolls hoops and would value any info from a 1997 2.8 Z3 owner who has fixed themselves or had hoops fixed. Questions that come to mi...

Screen Pillars
I decided today that I would do something about the screen pillars and the hard black plastic covering that was over them. It had become discoloured and had cracked at the top of both pillars. Previous advice has suggested using a hair dryer to release the adheasive and that worked a treat. Here is ...

New to the BMWZ3 Scene
Hi, I have recently purchased a 1997 2.8 with 69k under its belt. It has full BMWSH and I have done a 1000 miles since I got it at the ned of August. A few answers to a few questions please. 1.The temp gauge gets up to the middle after only 3 or 4 miles. Is this normal. I have no overheating probs. ...
