I would also check the integrity of the battery terminal connections in the boot. If us not the OEM battery, some replacements are not as tall. You could try Meguiar's Scratch-X. I had reasonable success with it.

What you are describing is quite normal Tez. The green lights extinguish sequentially at a rate dependent on time , driving style and fuel consumption. They display at start up then go out as you have observed. The orange and red only appear after the last green has gone out. Just like traffic light...
