Yes, thanks from me also, a good night out!
Should do drives more often, I am always up for an early sat or sun drive before roads get too busy.
Cheers

I'm going to America next Wednesday, I wouldn't have thought of looking for electrical goods as I assumed the voltage was different and they wouldn't work. If they are really £60 I'm buying one. All car electrics are 12V It is only the home stuff you have to watch although some of it is multivoltag...

Might be the battery. Sorry that is not much help but when my S2000 battery was on its way out I eeked out the last few drops of use, so to speak. In the last weeks it would whir whir whir (slow whirring sound) then catch and fire up. Then when it was truly dead it clicked like you describe. My driv...

What do your back lights look like - that is the easiest way to tell If they are red and orange then pre-facelift. clear and red - post facelift Also, interior got changed a bit, centre console mainly. I thought the facelift was year 2000 onward, 2000 was still the 2.8 then in 2001 the 3.0 came along.

No, the FFCDMC only became MP3 compatible sometime during 2006 However, check out the CHA-S634 it is a direct replacement, however you will need an interface (box of electronics) and an adaptor lead Search on bmwland.co.uk for 'CHA-S634' and you will find lots of information. I had this all fitted i...

You probably know better than I with your experience, but leaking on a seam is unlikely to be damage from a stone in those three weeks... Keep pushing and by the way the placard idea is a good one, but use it as a last resort. You won't get arrested, but perhaps asked to 'move on'. In this day and a...

Just took the larger piece of foam out. It sounds nice, but a little artificial, if that makes sense? No it probably doesn't make sense so you'd have to experience it to see what I mean! Easiest mod ever. I did it in the dark, practically! Hopefully I put the tube back on ok, I am pretty sure. Can c...

Very nice shots. I like the d-chromed look. Not sure those wheels are MV's though  I think they are MV 2's The original MVs were on the 3er sport models, these are the newer versions found on the facelift E46. I just sold an E46, I am not an anorak or anything, honest. IMHO the best wheels f...

Well done getting a sale, I know how it feels after peddling my 330d for about two months before selling it last weekend. I did look at yours a couple of times and thought about it - if I had decided on a Z3 3.0 I think I'd have been very interested. It was a great price and a lovely looking example...

After much deliberation over Z3M's (decent ones being few and far between) Z4M's (which would have meant getting into finance although a nice car), I have got myself what I hope turns out to be a nice Z4, 9000 miles and the 3.0i SMG. I'll post up some pics once I pick her up. This means I'll be look...

Your opinions would be much appreciated. I appreciate these cars are very rare and valuations are quite subjective. Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! I might consider a 2.2 or newshape 2.8 but I hear that they aren't that much cheaper to run than a 3.0 MPG-wise. Having owned a 3.0 I was very happy with it and found it just about quick enough. I did test drive a couple of 2.5s (192hp) in the US as well, and t...
