What do your back lights look like - that is the easiest way to tell If they are red and orange then pre-facelift. clear and red - post facelift Also, interior got changed a bit, centre console mainly. I thought the facelift was year 2000 onward, 2000 was still the 2.8 then in 2001 the 3.0 came along.

It was only about 18 months / 11,000 miles old at the time, pics taken in 2003 when I lived in the US.

They are beautiful cars the 3's, there is no doubt about it. I like the Sienna Red quite a lot too.

I just dont like all the ACS kit on Bryns car, most of all the wheels! (JMHO though)

Also it's an excuse for the insurance to charge me more, thus I'd rather have a 'standard' car.

28-31 mpg from the 2.2?

I think I will go for the 3.0 then.

I used to get 22 out of the Z3 with steptronic and that was miles per US gallon

(about 27 UK MPG)
