The Z4 got the 3.0i and the 3.0Si, the Si having somewhere around 265bhp if my memory serves.

The Z3Ms are rated around 315/321bhp depending on where you look (the handbook says 321bhp) for the S50B32/e36 M3 Evo engine and 325bhp for the S54B32/e46 M3 engine.

Ah the old internet arguments... I've owned a 1.9 roadster, a 3.0 Sport roadster and now an M Coupe. I put my old one from my 1.9 up on ebay for about £80 starting price... I think it finally went for £197 or something! I promise, hand on Zed that no-one shaddow bidded on it for me, that was all genuine ebay madness :)

I just fitted one of these at the weekend, £17.50 from my dealership. Gotta say they do look good, but the reception isn't as good as either the standard aerial or the S2000 one.

I've replaced the seats in my track M3, you're right about the weight of BM seats - it's just silly, especially these nice heated, electric ones! I can't help with the fitment as I'm sure the e36 is different to the Zed, but Demon Tweeks were very helpful to me, even though I only bought the runners...

I replaced the cat on my 1.9 with a £100 ebay special. It was useless, didn't fit properly and sounded almost as bad as the one I took off with the hole in.

I'm afraid to say that in my experience at least, go for a genuine one if you can.
