It's gotta be either the nose or the noise. My 3.0 pops and burbles on the over run and howls on it's way up the revs. I love it! Then there's the nose, it looks amazing! Long bonnet, nice lines.

Sorry Mike, are you saying not to bother changing the RTABs? If so I don't understand, yes you will need a press/garage to change them but these will make the biggest difference to the handling.

At the same time, if the bushes have recently been replaced you won't notice much difference changing to poly bushes.

I'm going through my M3 with poly bushes, but if the bush is OK, then I'm not wasting money on replacing it.

I've got iridiums in my M3 (S50B30 - e36 M3 3.0). They work... so do the NGKs. To be honest I think a good spark plug is a good spark plug. I haven't noticed any differences.

I don't dispute that Tori, I do however dispute the idea that the excess weight gives any kind of advantage over the Clubsport knob.

Plus it's cold in the winter :(

I've got both, if someone wants to spend the £35 on another clubsport and post it to me I'll happily post you my Storm! ;)

I've got a Storm knob on my M3... they look OK if you like the style but don't expect any "wow, that's a massive difference!" moments with it... it's just a knob.

Personally my knob of choice is the e46 330i Clubsport knob, weighted, OEM, brill :)

To reset the fuel values you need Carsoft or some similar diagnostic program. If you're in the area you're more than welcome to stop by and I can do it for you. As for the 36mpg... it's certainly not because I'm scared of the throttle - I do my best to get it down and keep it there! I put most of it...

I've got BD grooved discs and BD Fast Track pads on my M3, with some BD braided hoses too. Pretty good setup, can't complain for the money :)

I don't think it would compare with a bigger disc though, that'd be a much better upgrade.
