Rear Screen Scratch remover.

For years I have used the BMW cabrio rear screen cleaner. The one that comes in a tube and looks like toothpaste.
BMW no longer have this product although it still has a part number and price.

Anyone used the Renovo product?

We've got Michelin Primacy Alpin 225/50 on 17in 284 style - but they're on the Alpina. The M doesnt go nowhere when the weather is that bad.

I leave the M with its all year tyres and dont drive it much.
The Alpina gets the works though with winter tyres and new alloys.
Cost -- dont ask.
For full on Alpina wheels and tyres over £4000
Opted for a BMW alloy (style 284) and non run flat tyres but still expensive.

Just remember the embarasment of having to be pushed up a slight hill from work when the front wheel drive cars went around me. Then the following year on winter tyres - same hill -no problems.

Sorry for opening a can of worms - that wasnt my intention. I am a member of .org anyway and do check out the events that wasnt the issue. Since we got the Alpina we have been doing regular meets even though there are so few of them. I just wondered why there are so few, if any, events on zroadster....

I'm off on the Alpina meet tomorrow in the 'other' car. Cant wait to see 30-40 Alpinas all lined up together. There will be some Alpina Z4s as well.

The old girl failed her mot today - cracked coilover. :cry:
M parts on order from Germany so a few days before she'll be back with us.
Decided to leave it with dealer as we go on holiday next week and they can keep it safely in their pound.
Better than leave it on our drive.

The 'winter tyre offer from BMW' rims didnt clear the brakes properly so they sourced and supplied some other BMW steel rims for as close to the offer price as they could manage.
Sold them on to a forum member for his Z

With 18inch wheels, you seem to be trying to remain fashionable throughout the winter! Forget about wide tyres - they are the last thing you want if it snows, and look on the door sticker for the size specified by BMW, which are narrow affairs on narrow steel wheels. They will not look fashionable,...
