I was told about this trick after my adventure with keys locked in the boot and tried it out the following weekend. It didn't work on the S class but never tried it on a BMW.

They are brown / bronze. I paid £90 for my Black/black ones which are the most popular hence full price. However, I thought these were a real bargain and like my others so much I have ordered some, great for just leaving in the car. I looked at the SpeedCat version (the future cats are the newer rep...

Final Drive unit failure - Differential bracket

I know this issue is well documented but I thought would give an update for all those with cars outside of the BMW warranty and high mileage. I picked up my Z3m a few weeks ago. I was aware of the spot weld telltale re the diff bracket problem and had inspected these before purchase and all seemed f...

Due to the often hilerious and sometimes embarrasing discussion regarding driving gloves http://www.zroadster.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19260&highlight= I thought it would be worth highlighting a great bargain for some driving shoes. If you don't need track day performance but just a great pair ...

I locked my keys in the boot of my S class last summer at the local golf club. Mercedes told me this was not possible which you could imagine I was rather argumentative about having all my mates rolling around the floor laughing at me. Eventually they agreed to send over a tachnician who could get i...

Good idea to cover them to stop fading again. Which Zaino product do you use?

I looked at the ebay boot badges but the orignal aremake to fit into he M shaped recess. I was worried that the non original ones would not look right.

Found this on eBay.Looks remarkably cheap. Emailed the seller who confirmed all tools / bolts /instructions included. Was tempted as I have the mounting kit installed on mine. Thanks for this. At least the dealer could tell you where it was, mine couldn't. Am getting the part posted over by the garage I bought the car from. Thought it would be cheaper to fit myself than 200 mile round trip.
Is it easy to get the trim off and replace or should I leave it to my next service?

:D well just bought my first Z3m. Have been looking around for a convertable as a 2nd car since last summer.
