ps....We are all aware aren't we, that if the airbag warning light is on, all of the airbags are disabled and none of them will not deploy in the event of a collision... I can definitely confirm that they don't deploy in a collision, just fortunate enough that we didnt replace the unit last week be...

Amber lenses just are removed by pulling them out of the clips, which is very easy. Similarly I didn't reseal them afterwards, popped them back in the oven to soften the sealant and then put them back together. The bulbs can be brought from ebay and don't cost much, something like this would be suff...

Hopefully this will work as I'm posting from my phone! I took out the amber lenses to give the detangoed look, I think it looks more modern and freshens up the front end, although ideally I would like to put the clear lenses in eventually but they are so hard to get hold of. http://i470.photobucket....

Good job it's not working, cos you might have set them off when you ran into the garage wall !!!!! :head: Well you did warn me that the airbags wouldn't work in the event of a crash and I can safely (or unsafely) confirm that they definitely don't! I wanted to get a bump out of the way before I got...

you muppet, after I helped you to recolour your roof, you went and parked it into a wall!! Then I had to stop halfway though cleaning mine to take you to the bodyshop, then I had to lend you my spare car so now I have no choice but to use the Z4 for 3 days, even if it rains and all my cleaning will...

I received a replacement display pass today (after the first one disappeared in the post) for the zed register stand on Sunday :) Its just a shame I have no zed to display at the moment, unfortunately its in the bodyshop being repaired as I ran into the garage wall last night :head: After a mad rush...

So at the moment are you getting no comms at all with the car from a diagnostic machine? (ie like checking other sytems on the car) I took it to a BMW specialist who had it on his diagnostic software, he was getting codes from other modules but when he tried to access the airbag control module in o...

An airbag ecu on its way from Germany (eBay), with exact matching code to RealOEM, When it arrives we will fit and then get it coded, Fingers crossed it will then get rid of that annoying light and get the system back in service... :thumb: What do you mean 'we' will fit it? I think it will be you f...

Airbag Control Module
Does anyone know where the airbag control module is located in the car? I need to change mine as it has become faulty and my airbag light is on but cannot be reset until I get the module changed as it is not communicating with the diagnostic software. Has anyone changed there module before and is it...

I think the ones with clear indicators front and rear are from the sport models on facelift cars? Its easy to find clear rear lights for a pre facelift although they are harder to source for the facelift models. You can remove the amber lenses from the headlights by taking them apart, giving you the...

I'm in the process of doing this myself at the moment. Painting the calipers red and I'm going to spray the hubs too but I'm unsure on what colour to do them yet, probably silver as my front ones are already silver. In my opinion it really freshens up the look of the car and is eye catching behind t...

Re: Halfords 2 for 1 all cleaning products
Its just a shame that the boot on zed's are so small otherwise we could have cleared the shelves. Hope the offer stays on for a while, I think were getting a little short on cleaning productsgookah wrote:Called for reinforcements, got my son there to fill his boot with stuff too.

If you already have roll hoops then I really recommend the item number 350341615565. I brought these and fitted them to mine, very easy to fit and come with the correct tool to remove the torx bolts. They are a decent quality and the cheapest you will find. I made an offer of £60 and he accepted so ...

How is the sound from these speakers, do they offer more bass a better quality sound to the originals? I have looked at upgrading to these speakers just wanted an opinion on them! Newbie Rare Coloured Z3 Owner
Just a quick hello from a new owner. Looking through posts from yourselves it seems to me that my new Z3 is a colour not seen on here to often? I think they call it Titan Silver??!! Anyway it maybe the most common colour but I love it, just upgraded from an E36 325i Coupe, had the zed 3 weeks now an...
