Pur-Blau / Hellgrau is probably my favourite Z1 colour combination, but not as rare as Traum Schwarz / Hellgrau !! Light grey leather / cloth bleached by the middle eastern sun? I am going to the motorcycle auction on the Tuesday so will have a look at the Z1. Chris If I leave the Z1 for a month the battery will be very weak, if not flat, so I use a ctek / accumate battery conditioner which can be switched on full time or on a timer for say 6 hours a day. A had a full inspection 2 service last year plus cam belt, follower and a new water pump, hose and clips at 32k kms. Great service from Tim Spicer at Duxford. I have been discussing the situation with a friend who is a boat builder, principally making up fibreglass replacements using the existing units as a mould. Jamal It is cracked vertically across 50% of the side light element. I have taped the top edge and will see what develops. A very helpful BMW parts guy (Elms, Bedford) talked me through access to the BMW online parts site which is more upto date then Realoem. Many thanks J Those are the boys, lock plates, 3 per light, assuming you still use the bracket under the light units which is tricky to access. £7.01 each from Germany. Front plastic lens cover (with seal and two screws) is £121 ... but no longer available, you must buy the whole light unit at £271....

You have been busy ... did you replace the control arm bushes as a pair ? I believe new rear wheel arch liners from BMW are supplied without the hole for the damper which will need to be lowered to thread through the new panel.
