Top Tip for anyone looking for car insurance is the Autotrader website.

Just renewed mine last Saturday £337 (£250 excess, 6000 miles, driveway, NG10 postcode) legal protection and NCP incl - from Sainsbury.

The site checks over 100 insurers and lists around 30 to choose from.

Got it back now.

Just got to try and get some compo, cos I bought a charger for the laptop. That's $120 that I spent because THEY lost my bag.

Good news - it works from 12vDC
Bad news - it only goes to 230vAC

I'll have to check with Targus to find out if it's UK compliant.

Two things I'd try. 1. Manually switch the alarm off, using the alarm key. Wait a while (just in case there's a minimum reset time). Go make a cup of tea. Finish cup of tea. Switch back on. Test. 2. If still broke, disconnect earth lead on battery make sure you have code for radio . Again do the cup...

Looking at the ETK, a 17" wheel should have a 225/45 on the front and a 245/40 on the rear (based on my chassis number for a 1997 2.8)

The KSD on my laptop is not working, so without the part number I don't know if the wheel is compatible.
