Re: Exhaust Question
In the picture there is a frayed hose which gets capped off by the golf tee. Understand that. I cannot however see how the hose connects to the 'cap'. I was expecting a male/female type arrangement. I would like to try this but worried how it all goes back together. Not clear from picture. Thanks

Speaker behind drivers seat
The speaker behind the drivers seat 'vibrates' when the radio is on. Only when say reasonable loud or louder. The 'vibration' can be made to disappear if you lower the volume. Any ideas please.

Just insured with Elephant for the second year and asked about the strut brace. Person rang me back and no charge. Somewhere along the line I seem to think Admiral were part of Elephant so if they were to charge you, you could mention that Elephant dont charge.

I guess it depends on your mileage. The more you do the more protection you get. I like them from a cosmetic point of view. They look good and so easy to spray a different colour to give the Z a different look. What I really think would set the car off well is to have a couple of fixed air ducts lik...

Fitted the cone type unit and I now get a very brief 'shrill' type noise when I accellerate. Also get it when stationary and rev the car. Dont recall any noise from when the standard unit was fitted. I think it happens in any gear but as engine noise increases cannot hear for sure. Am going to switc...

Will do on Friday for you. I got them from a B and Q store. They are L shaped, brown and about 4 cms wide. The smaller part of the bracket screwed into the underside of the arm rest (one each side) and the longer part into the centre console with two self tappers each side. If you do pop into a B an...

Will the Z3 3.0 price icrease as has the Z3Ms
There have been two posts on her recently. One concerned what is a Z3M worth from john1950 and the other from yaldon who wants to buy a 3.0 Z3. It seems to be agreed that the Ms are rising in price and I would suggest that a very decent one with low miles for its year would be around £10k to £12k as...

Drivers side front headkight adjuster
My 2002 3.0i went straight through the MOT with no advisories - great. The guy did say that my drivers side headlight beam was a bit low and he had tried to adjust the beam. Saw him try do this. He said that the adjuster was not working. Is this an easy fix please and it is a common problem. Thanks.

Spot on. Was grey leather and secured by two B and Q brackets and self tappers to the sides of the centre consul. Seats went forward, brackets fitted, seats came back so all fittings hidden. Brackets were brown so sprayed matt black as were any other items such as self tapper heads.
