I collected a "broken" old style switch last night and discovered that other than the power supply connection connector, the other 2 connectors were identical. So an easy swap of the old type connector to the new style switch and loom.

The fact that the CCV has a separate drain channel on the dipstick tube isn't common knowledge, and I would imagine it is not a check item when doing the CCV replacement.
