It's not too difficult to do this sort of service. there are plenty of you tube videos for oil, filter and plug changes. You will get to know your Z more intimately if you work on her. If you are not confident, I'm sure a nearby forum member could spend some time with you looking over your shoulder ...

Mine are matt black! The chrome ones immediately catch your eye, and in my (humble) opinion break up the flowing lines of the car. The switches on my 1998 2.8 Z3 are in a different order to that though. From the right; computer, air con, electric roof, seat heaters, A.S.C.. I think they changed switch positions on the ass lift Z3

Surely a 3 phase supply is used because the motor starting and/or operating current of whatever is being driven would be too high for a normal single phase cable, connections and outlet? Sharing the load 3 ways? How is the 3 phase converter connected?

Someone somewhere said that certain Halfords mudflaps can be trimmed up a little to fit a Z3. Can't remember which forum it was on though. I got my front pair from Roadster Solutions across the pond. Non left there!

Just had a look at it,104k not bad nick, but.....2 spot welds popped in boot and another on the way out. How much would it cost to fix these? Not going to replace Z3lda, just curious!
