Annie, Have you looked at the plastic bits in the boot? These can clonk around a bit if not seated securely. The other thing is if you don't shut the boot properly ( sounds obvious but can look shut when it isn't) Also the straps on the fuel tank can fail and make quite a clonking noise on stopping?...

I have a 2.2 which was my first Z3 and also a Z3M . I love them both! My dad who was a car nutter had an XR3i at one point which he loved to bits. The 2.2 has better performance than the XR3i and looks great too. The 2.2 is plenty fast enough for most situations ............ I think the official 0-6...

What a fab day! Excellent organisation ZC and I was amazed at how well Terry's fan shape turned out after fears of multiple collisions! :) It was lovely to catch up with old friends like Rob T, ZC, Jontt and Deano and meet new people face to face. Covers coming off today and hopefully will get to clean and maybe reproof my soft tops and go for a spin!

The Met Office forecast is that the volcano still has significant plumes but the ash will be blown away from the UK for the next few days. :wink:
