Would not take any risks with an oil filter. There is a brand name on one of the components in the photo but you need to know the brand and spec of the one you will get. I have 225/40/18s on the front and 255/35/18 the rears. These were chosen to ensure the outer wheel diameters remained essentially the same as the originals and thus keep the speedo accurate. On a similar theme, I've noticed that my driver-side wiper arm rubs very gently against the bonnet lip just above it as it sweeps through it's arc. I haven't been able to get it to sit lower down on the splined drive shaft to clear the bonnet. Any ideas out there?

If this is aimed at the 2.8 and 3.0 owners, then why not look at an M instead - there'd be no turbo lag. My concern would be the ability of the rest of the engine and drive train taking that increase in power. To make it safe, the modifications would bring the price of the 2.8/3.0 up to that of an M...

Your cash/mileage figures do not make much sense, and are prone to innaccuracy - try filling up to the brim, using the tankful, and then refilling to the brim.
