Thanks for the reply John but I have disconnected the whole system and removed the unit to check it.The cassette moves in and out easily but still displays '' No Disc '' when operated.

Boot cd player is showing''no discs'' on the display and I have taken it out ,checked all wiring,removed discs and replaced discs but no luck.The magazine ejects O.K. but still showing 'no disc' on display. Can anyone help or is it a case of THE BIN.

Is it possible to retro fit seat heaters to a 99 model 2.0 Z3?
Obviously if this is possible it will just be a matter of sourcing the elements and switches from a scrappie?
