The Z1 comes in six factory colours: Four metallics: Dream Black, Primordial Green, Pure Blue and Magic Violet. Two non-metallics: Top red and fun yellow. The most common colours are red, green and black. The other three are pretty rare. The Dream Black has quite a prounced blue/green tinge to it. P...

Finally got the car back today, albeit still with a slightly loose front wing as the new one is still AWOL in the BMW back order system. Front bumper looks spotless and it's great to have it back. Took advantage of it going into the bodyshop to finally have the horrible old Belgian dealer badge that...

The bodyshop has repaired and repainted the front bumper for me and I should get the car back today or tomorrow with the old wing still in situ. Then we'll just wait for the new wing to turn up from BMW and, when it does, I'll drop the car back down to them for the new wing to be fitted.

This was timely and helpful. The bodyshop who are repairing the Z1 under the insurance claim rang BMW this morning who confirmed to them that a new batch of wings were coming in. Accordingly they were able to order one, but BMW were not yet able to give an ETA for delivery.

It seems BMW is clean out of new OE front wings - I missed the last one by mere days. Anyone got any tips on how to source one? I need an off-side (ie passenger side) one as it seems the impact with the taxi has cracked/snapped all the mounting points (the other front wing is fine).
