Last nights Midland Drive and Dine

Another good turn out on last nights drive. Our first Z4 arrived - a lovely Merlot 3.0l - the one that we met by chance at the Lakes picnic - joined by Neil's (Norwegian Blue) Phoenix yellow M Roadster as newcomers. In total we had 2 M Roadsters, an M Coupe, 2 Z3s, a Porsche Turbo cabrio, a Z4 and a...

I dont mind my plate being on view.

Marise bought it as a Xmas present for me, so I have to say that!!!!!!!!!!! Most of our cars are unique therefore proving a cloning situation should be straightforward. My son had both his numberplates pinched from his car a few years ago. Now that that was worrying ------- got a crime number from t...

:D
Nice to see a Z4 planning on attending --its the one we all met on The Lakes Weekend. Remember the one we met by chance at the picnic that was out on his own driving down the road.

Interesting---------

I eventually changed all 4 back to Pilot Sport 2s and instantly brilliant.
Its interesting that by changing only 2 makes such a difference.
Anyone changed fronts only with mixed brands?

Resale values

BMW sales may be high but how many more new customers to the brand have they lost because of his comments. Worse, what effect might his comments have or have had on the resale value of our Zs.

only one problem

When your opinion - right or not, carries weight with the public at large it can be dangerous. I remember Tiff Needell saying bad things about the first Noble and orders were cancelled the following day. When he reviewed the second version favourably the order book instantly filled up. So although C...
