Re: Wanted Z3m Roadster (UK)

Many of these used to change owners yearly in the early days, many have lots more than 5 owners.

I wouldn’t let higher miles put you off, we are talking about cars of 17-21 years old.

Good luck with your search :)

No doubt they will be ideal for town driving.

I recently watched a tyre comparison video on YouTube, the budget tyres were ok until demands were put on them, understeer/oversteer and braking were the biggest problems.

I’ve used budget tyres on other cars in the past because they suited a purpose.

Usually the leaks come from the top of the screen posts and/or the centre of the section over the side windows.

The roof clamps are adjustable, may just need a tweak.

Hi, One simple thing that no one has mentioned so far. What about wheel size? If those have a smaller diameter than the specificated wheels for the car, it will of course show wrong speed. Cough cough  Mine is over by 8mph at 70mph, I’ve no idea why. Tyre and wheel sizes are standard.

I don’t think a polish is abrasive enough to remove swirl marks, you’d need a compound and a machine to do that effectively.

Maybe just clay bar then polish then wax.

I’ve used a Meguires 3 stage cleaner/polish/wax in the past which was very good (after using a clay bar first)
