An ABS sensor fault can cause itermittent failure of ASC and ABS. Not an armchair anorak actually had the problem with my Zed. Had to drive most of the winter months with no ASC and no ABS. Diagnostic will tell you for certain.

Cost around £100 to get a new rear sensor fitted.

Mine is set off by any form of taxi, must be something to do with the radio signals.

Ride is fine, I would ignore some of the purists views as it is clear that people runnning 18"s dont suffer from ride comfort issues. Mine is lowered 30mm all round. I have also fitted a strut brace and poly bushes to combat the standard tramlining issues (which were there before the 18"s ...

If you want to improve air flow I think think the best bet would be a Gruppe M rep or similar. I have a proven 18bhp improvement from that and a re-map on a 2.0

my 2.0 goes through the rev range ve nicely up to about 6200 rpm. But i have had a remap.

The CPS sounds the best bet but as everyone else said that will show a fault code anyway.

How much Work? Non M to M

Just wondering how much work would be involved dropping and M engine into a 2.0? Obviously you would need: Engine Wiring Loom Gear Box Diff Also i imagine some strengthning at the rear, would you also need the rear axle? Just interested at the mo could be the next mod :evil: but if it costs too much...

I toyed with both ideas Chrome/black out, BUT am so so so happy i went for the stealth look. Not a fan of chrome myself but do agree it can suit certain Z's. v nice indeed!! - did you remove the Orange indicator plastic from the headlights yourself? I'm looking to do that too :) - gathered its an easy enough task to do :) no i purchased snatch's old headlights as he changed to the projecterz, bit of tlc and luckily they came out smart as! cheers snatch!...

I perosnally think Hamilton is amazing and atlest him taking risks makes it more interesting. I have been running the same set up for more than a year now with no problems. I have however also upgraded to poweflex bushes out of choice. When the shocks give up the ghost i intend to either upgrade or bite the biscuit and go for coilovers.
