It's the M50B25 manifold you want, I don't believe the M50B20 is the same.

There's another thread on this somewhere with Alpina527's email addy on it, he's the best person to talk to about this as he makes the conversion kits along with the BBTB's.

Oh my, that's your nitrous super-coolant tank that you've busted there! Man, I wouldn't be running that car in a hurry, get it replaced, if I remember correctly it's normally the positronic valve that get's blocked and caused the failure, I think BMW retail them at about £350 or so. I wouldn't trust...

Bonnet damage...? :shock:

We had this on a C&F cruise on e36coupe a few years back. One mangled nose cone and some red faces. Hope this one's the same story, and that bonnet isn't too mangled!

You did WHAT at 4.30am?!? :lol: One bit of braking can't of done that, surely. Are they made out of Play-doh? I'd think it was more likely to of deposited some pad on the disc. Personally I'd go out, brake hard and fast a few times and see if it makes any difference before you splash out on new discs.

It does indeed also apply to my engine, but I am well aware that the S50B30 that I have is different to the S50B32 that is in the early Z3Ms.

I'm just saying what the threads on e36coupe recommend for the Evo, which shares the engine with the early Z3M.

For the S50B32 (e36 M3 Evo engine) most people I know go for Silkaline Pro-S 5w 40. Not cheap, but bloody good oil.

I've got Bosch aero blades on my M3 and they are very good. I've been talking to the guys at www.wiperblades.co.uk but there's no Bosch aero ones listed for the Z3 and they're not sold seperatley.

I'm gonna try a set of the Valeo ones, see what they're like.

Sorry Hornell but there's just no way to compare my insurance to yours - I've got a policy that covers both this tweeked Zed and my trackable M3... that combined with ages, locations, etc etc.

As I said above, unless you actually want a oil filler cap, I wouldn't hold out any faith.

I've tried Googling and looking at old catalogues and I can't find a petrol cap that ACS made.

But seriously, the belts are a good place to start. WD each pully in turn, see if one stops the screeching.

Well for starters it looks more like an oil filler cap.

If he's not responding, start on the complaints process. Especially if he's got bad feedback already, I wouldn't trust him.

I don't know. the impact was pathetically slow, but the car was rotating at the time... It's just the slight crease in the boot and the way the boot lid has gone wonky. The flaked paint could well be from where the backbox has hit the side of the spare wheel well, and on the 200+ miles back my butt ...

Yea, I brought two copies with me, I was temped to get more, but I didn't know if it'd be allowed or not. Turnes out they're just fine with it!
