I think that is your problem, I believe (and I think it says in one of the instructions) you only have 1 tooth leeway each way from the centre/start, anything else will cause it to be misaligned.

Just spoken to my local dealer. The part is available - 54318410992 and it comes in at a dealer cost of £358.39 (£430.07 inc vat) They don't consider it is a "self fit" but wouldn't explain why other than "it's quite fiddly" :shock: and quoted 3hrs labour £107 + vat an hour :shoc...

Disappointing phone call from BAS today, they will definitely not be attending Silverstone. Further bad news is they have stopped making the roof lining and only now fit one if you buy from dealer.
