Does that include the recoding to your car? Yes the price I asked for was for "removing existing, fitting replacement and recoding" - he didn't seem to think that recoding would be an issue. Excellent - I hope it works, if it does I will follow your route rather than having mine re-furbed...

Ordered the interface from BMW this evening too along with a new throttle cable - picking them up on Wednesday so hopefully it wont be long before I am feet free !!

Lee I am fairly certain it is the same setup as the 3.0 M54. Check you have the small white connector under the steering column before you buy anything. Brian Cheers Brian.... Whilst I understand the (slight) rationale of not putting mileage on a car to retain some residual value, I also despair of the number of Z3Ms I see with hardly any mileage on them :head:
