should be able to get it wrapped for £1k respray depends on the condition of your existing paintwork but budget about £2k and you wont be far off

veba make a numberplate camera works great on the back of my van should be able to fit one to the front and instead of wiring it into the reverse light wire it to a switched live with either a on of switch or there screens have a remote control

just have to get used to it mate nothing to do with it being a balanced car in fact the opposite . your reference to an old viva isn't far off the mark tbh :wink: smooth roads are fine but bumpy back lanes will never be its natural territory

if the nylon coating around the inner cable inside the outer sleeve has any cracks in it no amount of oil will free it .back in the olden days cables were just a wire inside a steel spiral wrap then coated in a plastic sheath. oil worked fine in them .things are made with a lifespan nowadays I remem...

we oiled ours with a professional motorbike cable oiler forces it through under pressure .it lasted about a month before going stiff and jerky again think a new cable was about £20 and took 15 mins to fit lovely and light now :wink:

I think....it's called the intercooler pipe, but it's the one to the gearbox, not the engine....would have to double check on oem etc...

By dismantling it into it's individual components, you could actually get an Actifry into a Z3 boot. Also, what is an Actifry? :lol: :lol: :lol: it would have fit if I had taken it out of the box the point I was making is the merc boot is no better and considerably worse once its filled with folded...

advert states it was a cat d so that would explain no service history and possibly the badly set bonnet gap he does say he has owned it for 4 years so if he,s a trader he,s had it a while

if you clean the no plate holder and the back of the no plate with cellulose thinner before applying the double sided tape it will stick and stay on iv fitted thousands this way and never had one drop off :?

personally I wouldn't use any oiled air filter ie k+n ect as if you over oil the filter by even a small amount it can coat the maf and cause other problems the oe type filter from a local auto parts type store is very cheap and does an excellent job .and you will get no noticeable gain in power with...

re the valuations of convertibles its the same over on the slk forums there still paying $10k plus for old late 90,s slk in the usa where here in the uk you can pick a nice one up for £2.5k :?

its the same on a lot of cars you can switch the one touch operation on and off this way after the window reaches the end of its movement keep your finger on the button for 5 secs and it either turns it on or off

if you think about it it will be open with no vacuum pipe connected as vacuum in the inlet side of an engine decreases as the revs rise the valve opens as revs rise simples :D . my 330ci had the same thing but was stuck closed I just removed the vac pipe and sprayed wd40 at it and wiggled it a bit u...
