Re: Exterior A Pillars Flaking

I would try a little heat from a hairdryer to make the wrap a little more flexible, you may need some cleaner to remove the wrap adhesive that is left behind. A good polish as you say will make the world of difference. Good luck  Thank you very much for shedding some light on this, I was expe...

Re: roof cleaning

TBH it looked fantastic after cleaning then dying, but no matter how many coats i put on it just went dark grey again when it...

Re: Exterior A Pillars Flaking

That's good news, I'm guessing it doesn't look the same colour as the Z (artic silver) because its probably been exposed for a while and needs a good polish.

what is the best method of removing the wrap? using a hair dryer or just pulling it off cold?

Exterior A Pillars Flaking

The finish on my exterior A Pillars (I think that's what you call them) is becoming brittle and flaking off, can anyone suggest a repair method or is it a case of removing the seals and the windscreen and then 'wrapping' them?

I've used the Renovo dye, cleaner and finisher. Although its a bit pricey, I can recommend the cleaner and finisher, But the dye didn't impress me much. You apply all this stuff with a paint brush. I think I'll give Autoglym's a go, but, could anyone recommend a decent BLACK dye? (dont mean to threa...

I just bought some stainless steel from flea bay, and made my own, i cut the ends at approx 40deg then drilled 2 x 4.5mm holes in each tip then tapped with an M6 tap. also bought 7mm long m6 stainless grub screws from flea bay too. I think they look pretty good...Retro :) (Total cost, about 10 quid)...

Wiper Arms are different lengths

I've recently taken off my wiper arms to sand blast them and re-paint them,

I noticed a while after that one of the arms is longer than the other.

could somebody kindly tell me which side the longest one should be fitted...Passenger or drivers side?

The correction factor is used to correct the OBC Avg Fuel Consumption figure to reality. If your OBC is off a bit, fill it UP totally and then run the tank down and refill.
