Red is less popular and so not usually a colour that they have in stock like black and blue so they have to order it specially in most cases which puts the cost up

Under the hump there is usually also a factory fitted amp. There should also be the original multi prong connector for the cd changer but it will be useless considering the aftermarket Headunit. My advise is buy a new head unit that plays BT AUDIO and put your music on your phone (or iPod). The othe...

HI, Just to let you know I have just bought 4 new Pirelli PZERO's for my Z3M from tyresonthedrive.com and I have to recommend them. I checked their prices against Camskill and Tyreleader and when you added on £10 a corner for fitting they were identical, however, they come to you and at the moment t...

4 new perilli tyres from TYRESONTHEDRIVE. superb service and the same price as Camskill / Tyre leader when you add fitting but they are currently offering 0% finance for 12 months. Can't recommend them enough!! (look forward to the "new tyre" syndrome to wear off though - currently driving...

All, The car has been sold to Sytner BMW (based in Leicester I believe). My father accepted an offer of £8500 which we thought was a fair price. The car needs a couple of small rust patches on the bottom of the front wings sorted and would benefit from a service. The car is currently still sat in m...

Maybe spurs fan has a Z3 he is about to scrap and can cut the connectors off for you? Still means splicing into the wiring though I guess to fit the new connectors. but it might be a neater job and make future removal of the seats easier?

Have a look at the wiring diagrams. I have a set of both in my garage as I was considering putting preface lift seats in my old (facelift) 2.0l. The connectors are different but it is pretty easy to figure out which wires to join to which.

HI, it does sound like it could be the clutch slipping. It was like that on our Kia a couple of years ago, slipping occasionally, not every time and resulting in the revs rising after gear changes. It kept working for about 12 months but slowly got more and more often.

My M uses the key - I find you have to hold the cap with one hand and turn the key with the other, otherwise the cap will just rotate with the key. Once you feel the lock disengage then the cap rotates a further half a turn to come off. The same process is required in reverse to put the cap back on ...
