I think we should keep it simple and go for two straight rows:
The proper colours - red, green, black and blue on the front.
The undercoated cars that aren't yet finished on the back.

We could have an undercoated one between each of the colours, showing a before and after painting is complete

That should be fun when all the little children go scratching the non-silver ones to see if they are all the same colour underneath - could even make it a competition - first one to test all the other colours wins. (trainee)
The other thing we should do is put a small, discrete, understated label on our windscreens so that we can recognise each other's cars.
Something subtle like this:
Serious suggestion though - what about a business/credit card-sized label on the dashboard??
Zippy has his name on the car twice albeit my name isn't on there but I'm up for that, put a little card on the dash - bit more discrete than yours RGF
Does anyone ever give anything out to anyone who enquires about zroadster.net ?
We could do with a "pitch sign"
I'll let Chris know to just park us with the throng.
I don't like the idea of anyone trying to find Zippy's undercoat though

How about a competition for the young ones, we could supply paint and brushes and ask them to paint the undercoated cars? Best use of colour wins?

Great idea RGF but why don't we put the popular colour (silver) at the front and the unpopular ones including seasurfers black car at the back.
Why don't we try to make Z3 out of the cars. We can make the Z out of the silver ones, and if we don't have enough of the unpopular colours to make a 3, we can always make a 1 with them and photoshop the cars to look like Z1s.
Cheers R.

Trouble with that is that the Z in the formation is going to look pretty bland The more exclusive cars (as usual ) will outshine the common silver colour, and that would be a shame as silver cars look nearly as good as the Zd's with attractive colouring . OK on photos as we could always colour them in using photoshop as you have suggested
Unfortunatley Chris needed to know if we had a "big plan" because he has to work out the layout for all the show so as there had been no agreed layout since the 2nd when I asked as per my post from last night I have e-mailed him to say "park us with the throng" but I have asked if possible could he let us have a plan of the area.
As you will appreciate I didn't think it was fair to mess Chris about he has the whole show to organize.
I am assuming now that we'll be in straight line(s) in which case maybe some groupings of the colours, which we can sort out whilst having a Costa?? Just a suggestion..

Good idea, although I have a feeling mine should be fairly recognisable

Are you meeting at J39 or the services just north of J39? I live about 3 minutes away from J39 so might join you - if Mrs ZC gets herself organised in time
