I'm thinking of a tour that will be much bigger than DTEC 2016.

It will take in at least 27 countries (28 if you include UK).

The date will be 2018, or 2019, or maybe later.

It will have to be done within 2 years of a date to be decided. I can plan the route, but not the dates.

I already have a name for the tour (and it's not "The Much Bigger Than DTEC Tour"), but I'm happy to use a better name if one is suggested.

As a guess (without even looking at a map), it will take around three weeks and will be more than 5,000 miles and will cost over £3000.

Can you guess what it is?

2700 miles (42 hours) [excludes distance & time to get to Coquelles]

Section 2

2200 miles (42 hours)

Section 3

1950 miles (34 hours + time for the Tallinn-Helsinki ferry)
or
975 miles (17 hours + times for the Tallinn-Helsinki & Naantali/Turku-Stockholm ferries)

Section 4

730 miles (13 hours) [only to Coquelles]

Now with distances and times

7600 miles (133 hours = 15 days @ 9 hrs per day)
or
6600 miles (124 hours = 14 days @ 9 hrs per day) if the Finland/Sweden loop is shortened by taking the Naantali/Turku-Stockholm ferry.
