Me and the Mrs are going from Wetherby area, its only a few miles from ours but happy to meet up and cruise in with the rest of you. We did Newby hall this year, Montreal Blue 2.8, thoroughly enjoyed the event and meeting some of you lot.

Would be good, would Ferrybridge services be OK for you?

We will do Ferrybridge services even though Morrison's is closer. I expect timings will be agreed on nearer the time. Not sure if Zedcarer is coming yet he may be on holiday.

Bought a ticket so now depends on what weekend is best for sister-in-law / Ryanair prices! but hopefully will be going from Ferrybridge.

5 of us to meet at Mc D's, Doncaster so far, we could wait for everyone to join us there and all drive in together.

The biggest problem we had in May was that even though the group arrived together we all got split up during the queue to get in. I think the only way we can guarantee to keep the group together is to gradually meet up at various points and if the organisers try to split is into 2 lines like last time refuse and stay in one line. That way we will all park together.

Many of us met at Wetherby services in May with a stop at Morrison's and then finally Boroughbridge services then on to the venue. Would it be out of the way for the Doncaster group to come to Wetherby?

Plenty of time to plan it's about 6 weeks yet.

If not Wetherby OK for me.

There were a few problems at Newby and TBH we were a bit late arriving. I'm not sure that when people register they assign themselves to the ZRoadster Car Group (this covers .net & .org) and Chris uses this to draw up the parking plan, and at Newby there wasn't enough space allocated to get all the Zeds together. CITP are currently showing 2 No BMW Roadster and 3 No BMW Z3 and the Parking Plan is showing 2 No BMW Roadster and 2 No BMW Z3 for the ZRoadster.net .org Car Group.

Squires is usually packed when we have gone past in previous years using the scenic route from Ferrybridge and IIRC there were 2 separate groups a couple of years ago but everyone got parked together. I would think that one of the services would be easier if people want to meet up and travel in together.

I can meet at Wetherby or Squires, whatever fits best with most. Still plenty of time yet, i'll keep watching posts and see what's agreed.

Ferrybridge services are good for us. Hopefully we can get 20+ Zed's on the day and let's hope for dry warm weather. Did not make last year but 2014 was a very nice day, fond memories as it was our first meet.

Hmm looking at bowlers comments about being ok for people from up North I checked on Google maps. It's actually Wetherby services where our group met last time but that was for Newby hall. Obviously Lotherton Hall is closer to Ferrybridge so that's fine for us will just have to get away a bit earlier from Hartlepool.

we have now showing a allocated parking area for the Z's so should all be parked up together.
Now its time to concentrate on getting the big yellow thing in the sky out to complete the day
Looking forward to seeing you all :)

Weather is looking dry with light cloud and highs of 17c. Fingers crossed this does not change for the worst.

Had a run out for a few hours yesterday and it was glorious!!

Still only just over 200 cars registered so I don't think it's going to be a massive meet.

Don't think we will be able to come, mother in law just had a massive stroke yesterday and in North Tees hospital.

If we are definitely not coming will let the group know so you are not waiting for us.

its looking like I will be coming by myself so far, the missus has given me a pass out! Mother in law has stabilised somewhat.

If this changes, well basically if I am not there in a silver 52 plate 2.2 sport by 8:30am just go without me.

Mike

Hi Bowler yes it was a typo I mean by 9:30am :dunce: :dunce:

Looks like I will be coming by myself but I have a paid seat - if anybody needs a lift and they are on the way to Ferrybridge services let me know and I can collect.

Think we are going to have early showers but the rest of the day should be fine and breezy.

See you all in the morning.

Bill - We will both be without ones missusses!!!

Hopefully her wares of the kitchen will be as zero calorific as the last goodies (still drooling over them)

I was going to bring one of my infamous Cheescakes of the Dead also known from where the recipe comes from as Los pasteles de queso de los Muertos!!

Have not had the time so it will have to wait until Newby Hall next year!

See you tomorrow!!

Miguel! :D :D :D :D :D :D
