DAB units

Post by hannanp »

Hi

Spoke to Alpine today about their dab units. They confirmed they are pulling out of dab due to lack of sales. They said they had only sold 200 units in the uk and much less in france and germany. I'd like to go with a dab unit so it looks like Blauplunkt will be getting my £s

to mention Hannan

JVC has a range of DAB solutions

first of all, with the hide-away separate DAB receiver KT-DB100, which is compatible with quite a few head units in the JVC range,

However it seems you wish to upgrade your head unit as well, and I am glad to say that JVC is not pulling out of DAB market at all, actually we are doing quite well, OK qty are small, but still, DAB is there to stay, which can see from DAB home receiver sales...

the KD-LHX601 is our single-DIN integrated DAB head unit
- MP3/WMA play back
- multibit DAC
- PICT image converter (lets you create e.g. Z3 images as screensaver/start up picture on head unit)
- Digital 7 band EQ
- 50W x 4 output
- Variable colour 3D graphics control
- CD changer control
- motorised slide out face

I think you'll find that more to you liking than the Blaupunkt head unit
