Becker Grand Prix 7992 Help

Post by Naeem.m »

Hi guys.

Got myself a Grand Prix Becker and got it installed. All is fine except Just wanted to Ask.

1. Is it normal for the manual not to have a bit in English?
2. It says that it is iPod compatible on the box. But how is this connected? as my mate checked it and said that it has no AUX connection.
3. Can you play songs from the iPhone on the unit with it's Bluetooth connectivity?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi I think you need a cable like this

(for the record I'm not connected to the ebay item or seller it's just the only pic I could find of one for sale via Google)

Thanks for that Yadi.
I think that is exactly the same as the genuine Becker iPod control kit

This item on eBay
140539680097

So I think that's the iPod issue sorted. Now I just need a instruction manual in English. Just for any future reference.
Quite strange that the one I have does not have an English section. :?

No probs - I had this link from before

http://www.mybecker.com/enUK/Automotive ... loads.html

Operation guide PDF is in English
(never to seem to be able to justify purchase of Becker unit myself when opportunities arise but this looks to be the right one)

Once again Yadi you're spot on. Thanks again.
It was just too hard to find a decent system that blends in nicely with the Z3 dash.
now it's fitted I must say it's the perfect Headunit. Sound is alot better but still need to get some bass. Thinking of a 6 inch sub or slim line sub under the passenger seat.
